Details: "Splendor is a gem-trading and engine-building strategy board game set in the world of Renaissance commerce. Players collect tokens representing diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies, and onyx, then use those gems to purchase development cards that create permanent gem income. Card by card, your table builds a stronger economy while competing to attract noble patrons and reach 15 prestige points first. With only three possible actions on each turn, Splendor is quick to learn and easy to teach, while still offering meaningful decisions about timing, reservations, and long-term planning. Built for 2-4 players ages 10 and up, Splendor fits family game nights, adult game evenings, and short strategy sessions with a playtime of about 30 minutes. The clear rules and open information make it approachable for newer players, while the race for cards, nobles, and prestige points keeps experienced players engaged from start to finish. Each round asks players to balance resource collection with engine growth, creating a satisfying tabletop experience that rewards smart choices and adaptation. The Asmodee Splendor board game is a strong fit for players who enjoy strategy board games, adult board games, and family games that are easy to bring to the table and replay often. The card-driven economy, streamlined turn structure, and competitive pace help make each session feel distinct across different player counts. For players looking to continue the series, Splendor Duel offers a focused 2-player board game experience, while Marvel Splendor brings a themed variation to the same core gameplay. Splendor remains a popular choice for building a board game collection with a strategy game that is accessible, engaging, and easy to play again."
