Description
  • HISTORIC SKINCARE: Discover the skincare superstar of generations gone by – rendered beef tallow! It’s one of nature’s closest mimics to the lipids produced in human skin and has been used for skincare by various cultures throughout history. Tallow is touted as nature’s best skin moisturizer that penetrates deeply into the skin, leaving a soft, silky, and supple feel with a beautiful, light sheen. Thompson’s Tallow Basic Balm is an allover face & body moisturizer that harnesses the power of tallow combined with ultra-lightweight, fast-absorbing Abyssinian oil, creating a fine formula for superior skin!
  • OUR TALLOW: Always 100% grass-fed & finished, sourced from regenerative family farms in the USA (Midwest & Southeast – where we have roots). Free-ranging cattle are raised without added hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, GMOs or mRNA. Carefully-rendered using controlled temperatures & fine-filtered multiple times for purity. Made with highly-prized beef suet, packed with Vitamins A/E/D/K and skin-loving fatty acids. Many with the following skin issues use tallow skincare: dryness, cracking, redness & irritation, eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, sagging, melasma, scarring, razor burn, & more.
  • AMAZING ABYSSINIAN OIL: Our flagship carrier oil is organic, cold-pressed Abyssinian oil – recently suggested as the beauty industry’s “best kept secret.” Originated in the Ethiopian Highlands, known as Abyssinia. We specially-selected this lesser-known, “skintastic” oil, as it is incredibly lightweight and non-greasy with rapid absorption properties, which makes for a dynamite duo with tallow. Its distinct blend & concentration of fatty acids and antioxidants makes it a superior, protective emollient. A very stable oil & non-comedogenic. Our Abyssinian oil is infused with organic calendula flowers – a marigold plant that has long been considered one of the best herbs for the skin.
  • FROM THE BEES: Of course we love the beef, but we can't forget the busy bees! Raw New Zealand Manuka honey is a natural humectant with wonderful skin-soothing properties. Beeswax (USA-origin) locks in moisture and provides a protective barrier on the skin without clogging pores. Pure bee propolis contains flavonoids & amino acids and is an antioxidant powerhouse – just one of the amazing properties of propolis.
  • ESSENTIAL OILS: Pure, uncut/undiluted essential oils not only provide sensational natural fragrances, but each specific oil also contains unique compounds that support the skin and defend against skin damage and aging.
  • ARROWROOT: Organic arrowroot powder helps to reduce greasiness and assists the texture of the formula.
