The LightKeeper Pro only works to assist with light sets wired in series, meaning the bulbs rely on one another to illuminate. If you can go up to a lit section of your light set and remove a bulb, and the section then becomes unlit, then your set is indeed wired in series-- meaning the LightKeeper Pro should be able to assist with this type of light set.
