Details: Elastic repair compound, supplied in a single cartridge, for fast wood repairs and splicing (paintable after 4 hours*). Ideal for the permanent repair of decayed and damaged wood. Can be used with a standard caulk gun. Can be sanded and painted on the same day. Suitable for: -Permanent repair of decayed and rotten wood, including windows and doors. -Fast, emergency repair of damaged wood. -Filling cracks and gaps. -Exterior and interior applications. -Use on wood as well as masonry, plaster, concrete, metal.* -Typical curing time for a repair 3/8” thick applied at 68F. Temperature and humidity may affect curing times. Characteristics -Can be used with a standard caulking gun. -Quick and easy to apply with excellent molding/shaping qualities. Will not slump, sag, or shrink. -Permanent, elastic repairs that accommodate natural movement in the wood. -Short curing time: can be sanded and painted after 4 hours*. -Once cured, the product can be treated like wood (planed, sawn, nailed, drilled, screwed, sanded, painted, or stained). -Can be used all year round. -Use on wood, and other materials, such as masonry, plaster, concrete, and metal. -Typical curing time for a repair 3/8” thick applied at 68F. Temperature and humidity may affect curing times. How to use: -Remove paint around the repair area. -Remove all decayed wood and pre-treat with DRY FIX UNI. -Dispense DRY FLEX 4 (2-in-1) on to the EASYQ mixing plate. -Mix components A and B with the EASYQ application knives until a homogeneous color is reached. -Spread the mixed DRY FLEX 4 (2-in-1) in a thin layer over the mixing plate (to extend the application period). -Apply DRY FLEX 4 (2-in-1) and immediately remove excess product. -When cured, sand the surface lightly before applying a paint or stain.
