This roof cleaner removes stubborn black streaks and stains caused by algae, mold and mildew - delivering visible results that get better over time. Packed in a 1-quart hose-end bottle capable of cleaning 400 - 600 square feet and cleaning the second story on most roofs. A ladder may be needed in some situations. Spray & Forget is an ideal roof cleaner for asphalt shingles, wood shingles, slate shingles, clay shingles and tile shingles. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 1) Attach hose to bottle. Ensure it is in "OFF" setting before turning on water. 2) Rinse surrounding plants with water. 3) Turn to "CLEAN" and spray roof. 4) Wait at least 10 minutes. Most stains will turn orange when cleaning. 5) Turn nozzle to "RINSE" and spray treated area until foam is mostly gone. 6) Repeat if necessary (darker stained roofs may need multiple applications). 7) Rinse surrounding plants, gutters and decks with water when finished. For outdoor use only. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Use eye protection and chemical resistant gloves when applying. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
