Please note that Wahl does not recommend wetting the trimmer body, either by rinsing it or submerging it in water. However, the blades can be rinsed with water after removal, rinsed and dried before reattaching. We recommend using the cleaning brush included in the kit to maintain the blades and apply them oil on at least any other setting. Also when storing the trimmer, always remove the charger cord when not in use. Rest assured that each beard trimmer kit is thoroughly tested for cutting performance before packaging, ensuring the highest quality standards. While we do our best to clean the product and remove the test particles, there may be some left. However, these particles are not hair and can be easily cleaned. The unit has as a trip lock function to prevent accidental activation during shipping and travel. To turn the travel lock function on or off, press and hold the on/off button for 3-5 seconds. The indicator light will flash green or blue 3 times when the lock is disabled and flash red when the lock is activated. Note: Connecting the power cord while locked will disable the travel lock.
