Details: The awkward stage of potty training is the one after the floor potty. A toddler wants the real toilet and cannot manage the real toilet. This seat lives on it permanently and drops into place when they need it.
How it mounts: Suction cups attach it securely to the toilet lid with zero tools required, and an adjustable strap lets it fit both round and elongated toilets. Clean and dry the lid before you press the suction cups down. That is what decides whether they hold.
Up and out of the way: It flips up when not in use. Adults use the toilet normally and no training seat sits stacked on the floor beside it.
Stability: A soft anti-slip rim sits between the seat and the toilet. Check the strap and the suction cups every so often and re-seat them if there is any movement.
Ages: Made for children ages 18 months to 3 years. Stay with your child while they are on it, and use a step stool so their feet have somewhere to rest.
Cleaning: Simply pop it off for hassle-free cleaning with no sticky residue. Wipe the top, the underside and the rim with a mild cleaner, dry everything, then press it back into place. Doing this regularly matters more than doing it thoroughly once.
Before you buy: Check the pack for fit details and any stated limits, and measure your toilet if you are unsure which shape you have.
