Engineered for stud and no-stud wall conditions, this wall box combines SmarToggle’s signature snap-in toggles with heavy-duty PC construction, delivering a secure, flush fit that stays in place.

With a spacious 56-1/2 cubic inch interior, nine wiring ports, and two 1/2" knockouts, this three-gang retrofit electrical box provides exceptional capacity for multiple outlets, switches, or smart modules. Installation instructions for ST3:

1. Make a small hole in the sheet rock at desired location by using a Philip’s head screw driver.
2. Insert the clip-on locator guide bit (on the face of the box) into that hole.
3. Use a marker or pencil to scribe a line around the perimeter of the box onto the painted wall surface.
4. Once a clear line is visible, cut away the line with a jab saw to make the perfect size hole every time.
5. Once a hole is cut, pull your romex thru that hole and insert it into one of the (built-in) wire inlets.
6. Insert the Smartoggle box into the hole and secure it to the wall via toggles or interior stud screw.
7. IMPORTANT This product is a (stud no stud) box. It is UL approved for single screw mounting or toggle mounting should no wall stud exist.
